A song jumps to mind through this phrase by someone I came across in early 2015, Xavier Rudd; a singer and song writer from Australia. One of his releases called ‘Follow the Sun’ to this I feel speaks volumes.

Follow The Sun

Follow, follow the sun
And which way the wind blows
When this day is done

Breathe, breathe in the air
Set your intentions
Dream with care
Tomorrow is a new day for everyone,
Brand new moon, brand new sun

So follow, follow the sun,
The direction of the bird,
The direction of love

Breathe, breathe in the air,
Cherish this moment,
Cherish this breath
Tomorrow is a new day for everyone,
Brand new moon, brand new sun

When you feel life coming down on you,
Like a heavy weight
When you feel this crazy society,
Adding to the strain
Take a stroll to the nearest waters
And remember your place
Many moons have risen and fallen long, long before you came

So which way is the wind blowin’,
And what does your heart say?

So follow, follow the sun,
And which way the wind blows
When this day is done.

I wanted to speak a point which personally I am constantly working in changing from my own life experience and that is of merely speaking as we go about our day. My choice of thoughts, affirmations and finally words to myself and others throughout my wake. Speaking to an extent is a reverberation of our thoughts we play through our human instrument. Voice is a powerful tool we’ve been given to express our divinity. To us we’re left with the choice of speaking life or death; the question is what do we wish to see more of?

So here we are. A new decade, a new chapter and a fresh page. Don’t fear the emptiness of a blank canvas, make it your own. Express your truth and flow with your unique movement. Twenty-Twenty is the magical year of the builder, where personally I feel we will be nursing the fruit of our trials and hardships; a year of blessings and breakthroughs. Let me ask if you’ve felt a shift in energy around you?

‘No?’ Then watch yourself closely and what you’re holding onto from your past. Many of us hold onto our past hurts and dramas to create a sense of self, where we identified who we are within the cold of that emotion; building a false sense of security on a very unstable foundation.

‘Yes?’ Then you’ve been doing the internal work, maybe by the nature of your surroundings or merely from taking responsibility for yourself. From a few of the conversations I’ve been having on a personal level, it is definitely a collective experience. A new energy field is at play, one of truths, clarity, kindness, stability, generosity and love. The list continues but let me leave it in your hands, haven’t you noticed?

Imagine yourself learning to swim, the more you fight the water, produces more of the feeling that you are sinking. The more you begin to accept the water, the more effortless it becomes.

Allow yourself to flow, and recreate. Build and rise. Grind and shine!

2020 is here and the vision is clear.
