Sitting in a box, it’s dark… for some lonely, echo of the mind bouncing off every corner, it’s getting louder and more unbearable, there’s a ring in your ear and fear has set in. Scream. Stop the racing in it’s tracks, scream so loud your heart stops beating, let the walls tremble, let the walls break, let it all crumble… for when the cracks are open light shines through and we have a glimpse of the sun in it’s rising… when we’re sitting in among the rubble of our mind can we truly feel the presence of the light. The warmth. The love and acceptance of what is. The hardest prison to escape is your mind, so let us make it a home.
“How!?” is probably the first thought to jump in front of you, it’s all simple. It always has been. Simplicity is beauty… cliché, but in my perspective a truth.
“…but why do we have to wait until breaking point?” For people in a dream, don’t realize they’re the actor. Those that have woken, realize they’re merely watching but those that wake and work to their dream realize they are the creator of this reality.
Remove your ego. When the ego is in control of your driver seat, will always lead to temporary happiness, which has to be filled up at every single gas station… on every block… in every city… always. Do you have the kind of currency? (Time) Time on Earth, don’t forget a manmade construct, is the currency we only get to spend once, be conscious of where you spend it.
The ego is completely controlled through emotion. Let me break that word down for you, e-motion;
energy in motion. It shouldn’t be a question, it’s natural to release and be vulnerable; to cry… that is our emotion leaving our body as a physical element; water flows and so should we, allowing us to feel, observe and accept the process… not to build a box for each emotion which kills growth and sets the timer on the next explosion.
Our emotions tend to take us on wild rollercoaster rides, don’t get me wrong rollercoasters are fun, the ups and downs are full of adrenaline, but if we aren’t conscious of that energy in motion, addiction can set in. It will grab you from your spine and make you do the dance; we weren’t put here to be puppets. We’ve come to grow, explore, nurture and master our nature and as I’ve mentioned in one of my previous posts (As Above, So Below) to experience through and from love.
Remove judgement. Judgment is finding your place above another, whatever it might be…don’t carry my perspective wrong, competition is healthy when done respectfully; with love. To better ourselves we look at people who lead in their respective field. We as humans tend to listen to the destructive voice of our ego and with that judge ourselves. Make your mind a home, remove the judgement that something should and has to be a specific way, there is no natural to that growth. When a plant grows green, we do not spit in its face saying it should be of another colour, the plant will wither away. We tend to its needs for growth, observe and change its surroundings accordingly. Acceptance of what is, allows for being. We are human beings, not human been or will be.
We will always feel misplaced or without purpose if we continue to be dependent on external factors for our peace, love and happiness. For the true journey starts within.
Here’s a quote that came to my thoughts to give you some visual understanding to the picture I’m leaving here:
A tree takes time to grow, we forget that it’s a two-sided story, as a seed grows in darkness; without fear, so we see the flowers and leaves appear. The further out and down they go, the further up it will grow.
Be the artist, create the life of your dreams.
Happy painting.
